Fun Custom Order

Just finished up a fun custom order for 25 little Christmas Elves.

They are going to attach pictures of the Children in a school class to the faces of the elves and then use them to decorate a class tree.  These were fun to make and turned out cute. They are 4 3/4" tall instead of the normal 9" doll that I do.

This customer also ordered two Tooth Fairy Pouches.  

Now I am off to play with something new that I ordered.  Can't wait to share it with you if it works.

Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day 2015

I am  sew excited to be participating in the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day again this year! There are always so many exciting prizes to be won and lovely people to meet.  This year I am giving away two different items. A New Tooth Pouch

I recently had a custom order for a tooth pouch.  The customer requested a rainbow tooth pouch with out a face on the tooth.  Of course I could not find any felt with rainbow print so I improvised and pieced the colors together.

I was really pleased with how it turned out.  You can now purchase one for you little tooth wiggler from the Etsy shop. They are not limited to Rainbow colors.  You can choose 2, 3 or 6 colors. They will be alternated or they could even be done in larger stripes.  

A Tooth Pouch and A Mouse

I had a custom order in January for a tooth pouch.  I think it has been my favorite one so far.

Olivia's mom contacted me and wanted a pouch to go with a cute little mouse that she had purchased. She wanted to use some of the Korean traditions as both of her children are Korean. She said that in Korea, they tell the story of a mouse because their teeth grow and regrow many times.  They also throw the teeth on the roof for good luck. She said she would not be practicing that part of the custom though. I don't think I could throw my children's teeth on the roof either.

More Tooth Fairy Pouches

I have been extra busy working on orders this month. Here is a peek at some of the tooth pouches I just finished up. 

Now that the pouches are available in lots of different colors they are selling like crazy. Plus they would make a fantastic stocking stuffer!!

Exciting News!!

I'm so excited!!  Remember back in May when I posted HERE about all the mini tooth fairy pouches I had been working on(500 of them)? Well...You can now order the book they were put into, Smiles In The Sky, HERE.

Smiles in the Sky is written by Theresa Bonini. The book is about Piper, a very special tooth fairy, who shares the age old tale of what happens to all the teeth that the tooth fairies collect.



The book comes with a tooth chart, to keep up with all those little teeth when they come out, as well as one of my mini tooth pouches.

A Quick Hello And Update.

I hope all of you had a safe and fun Memorial Day.  I spent mine with family doing nothing but relaxing and putting up our metal frame pool for the kids.

I know it has been kind of quite around here for the last month.  I have been extremely busy working on a very exciting custom order.

Here it is...500 mini Tooth Fairy Pouches. Each one was hand sewn. Yes, I did start to think my hands were going to fall off. Once they reach their destination in Tampa, FL, they will then be added to a children's book, that will be title Smiles In The Sky, about the Tooth Fairy. It is very exciting to think that each one of these 500 little tooth pouches will be placed inside of a book.  The author has promised to send me a copy of the book once it goes to print. I promise to share pictures with all of you when I get it.

Now I am off to work on another custom order.  I'll share with you tomorrow about what it is for.  ;)

Another Happy Little Customer

This is my newest happy little customer.  He received his tooth pouch yesterday...Just in time for his tooth to fall out today. Look at that happy toothless smile!! This little guy is the son of my dear friend Susan from Crochet Addict UK.

Rainy Day

I am enjoying my quiet, rainy day at home today.  I just finished up an order for 4 cute little tooth fairy pouches.

These little cuties are headed all the way to New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand.  My little man thought I was famous all over the world.  I have to admit that it is exciting to send something that I have made all the way to New Zealand. My last order went all the way to Ireland.  

I hope all of you are having a great week. I'm off to package up those little cuties up there so I can get them out today.  Then, I can work on something new. ;)

Fantastic!

Fantastic things have been happening for Storybook Felts in the last week. 

First I have had loads of orders for my cute little tooth fairy pouches and for a cute baby ball.





Then I was featured in an Etsy Treasury.

I also sold my first large baby mobile.

This was the best part!!  I have another one in the works.  I am almost finished with it so MAYBE by next week I can get it up in the shop.  

Then I hope to be able to get a few holiday items, like ornaments and such, up also.  If there is a certain type of ornament you would like to see let me know and I will see what I can do.

New Items

I can't believe I haven't posted about the new items up in the Etsy shop!! It has been crazy busy around our house since our little man broke his arm on September 16.  He had pins put in that week and we have been in a different routine since.  We are all so ready to get back to our old routine.  We go back to the doctor this afternoon for x-rays to make sure it is still healing and in place where it should be.  If all is good, we will be back in the O.R. at the end of the week to have the pins pulled out and a new cast put on for a couple more weeks.  Then he should be good to go after that.  We are all so very ready for it to be over.

Tooth Fairy Pouches


I have been selling quite a few of them personalized this week. 

The tooth pouches are available in the following colors:
Blue, Pink, Red, Yellow, Green, Purple, Light Blue, Lime, Dark Pink and Orange. I can do them in any color though if you don't find a color you like listed please let me know.

I have also started making mobiles.


This is the first one I've make.  It is a farm mobile.  Hubby has been great about making the hanger pieces for me. I am working on a new one right now and hope to have it finished this week.

I have so many idea running around in my head.  There is just never enough time in my day to get them all made.  I hope there won't be such a long lapse in posts the next time.  I would love to hear what you think about the new items.

Happy Tuesday everyone!!  There are two new items up in the Storybook Felts Shop today!!

A cute little Tooth Fairy Pillow for the Girls

Isn't she cute!  She has a pocket for your favorite child's tooth and a pocket to hold treasures or money. She is also great for snuggles when she isn't busy holding teeth and waiting for the Tooth Fairy to come.

The pillow even comes with a ribbon attached to hang her from a door knob or bed post.  That way the Tooth Fairy won't wake up the little one when she comes to get her tooth.

I also have a little something for boys today to.

My design your own felt race car now comes with a set of 4 Pip-Squeaks Skinnies markers. This set comes with 1 white felt card, 1 yellow marker, 1 red marker, 1 blue marker, and 1 green marker. These would be great for birthday parties too.
