Miss Mousy and Her Baby Brother

I have been working on a mouse as a gift for one of my daughter teachers.  I have come up with two different versions. A big one and a small one.  The small one I ended up making a diaper and blanket for.

As soon as I can get some more of them made up I will be listing them in the Etsy shop so keep and eye out. I will post here and on Instagram as soon as they are ready to ship. 

Custom Astronaut

Just finished up a custom order for an Astronaut and pup set.  This one was done with blonde hair.  I think he turned out really cute.

Customer Ballerina Order

Just finished up a custom order for a ballerina set and sent it out this week.

They chose a yellow cover instead of the darker pink.  I just love the little girls name it is so sweet. This set is going to be a gift for the dance teacher of the customer's little girl.

The books now come with a snap closure instead of Velcro.  I was always concerned that the Velcro would not stay on.  The snaps are defiantly there to stay!! Plus they look a lot better than the Velcro.

Christmas Cupcakes and Christmas Buddies

I am sew excited to announce that Christmas cupcakes and Christmas Buddies will be up in the shop this week. If you would like to pre-order them here before I get them listed just leave me an email address and I will get back to you asap. The cupcakes will be available with or without a hanging loop and I hope to include a cute box to go with them as soon as I decide which one I want to use. Oh and did I mention you will also have the choice to have the cupcakes personalized with a date. Emma from Sew Sweet was wonderful and allowed me to use her images until I can get my own ready to go. Can't wait to get started on these cuties! 

Fun Custom Order

Just finished up a fun custom order for 25 little Christmas Elves.

They are going to attach pictures of the Children in a school class to the faces of the elves and then use them to decorate a class tree.  These were fun to make and turned out cute. They are 4 3/4" tall instead of the normal 9" doll that I do.

This customer also ordered two Tooth Fairy Pouches.  

Now I am off to play with something new that I ordered.  Can't wait to share it with you if it works.

New Fall Items

I have been busy working on some fun new fall items this week for the Etsy shop.

There are some fun Pumpkin Treat Pouches / Party Favors. These would be fantastic for fall class parties! There is a little pocket in the back to hold treats and they are available in plain, black face, yellow face or a combination of the three.

Also, there is a fun Candy Corn Bunting. It has an extra long tie so you can hang it anywhere.  I can add more triangles if needed, or even make them larger or smaller and different colors.

New Items Update

I can't believe I have not posted since June.  It has been a busy summer around here.  That has ended as of today though.  My kiddo's are back at school.  Mr. Boo is a big 5th grader and Lulu is a Junior this year.  Yes, it is hard for me to say that.  My babies are growing up WAY WAY too fast!!

I have quite a few new items up in the Etsy shop.

This is Armstrong and his astropup Buzz.  They are the newest members of the Storybook Felts family.  They are available separate or as a pair. Armstrong is 8" and his puppy is 5 1/2".

This is Dotty.  She is a sweet bunny and loves to snuggle.  She is 12 1/2 inches tall and all hand sewn so she is great even for the little ones.

And of course we can't leave out the ice queen.  She is 8 1/2" and has loads of sparkle on her dress.

She even has a glitter train on the back.

There are also a bunch of foam stamps in the shop that I am getting rid of if anyone is interested.  Most of them are around $2.00 or less.

I am off to get some orders out but wanted to stop by and say hi and introduce you to all these cuties. Hope all of you are having a great day and if your kiddos went back to school today I hope it was not too hectic this morning. Do You Want To Build A Snowman?...

Well, now you can.  The Storybook Felts shop is loaded with three new snowman sets for kiddos to play with.

You can't say "Snowman" with out thinking of this guy. He measures 12 1/2" by 4 3/4" without his hair or arms and comes with what you see here.

This little gal measures 9 1/2"  x 6" with out a hat.  She comes with 31 pieces total to mix and match, including her cute little bird friend. It's kind of hard to see but she even has stripes on her gloves.

This little fellow also measures  9 1/2"  x 6" with out a hat. He comes with 29 pieces to mix and match (he doesn't have pink cheeks like she does). 

These are so fun to play with and are going fast!  I sold two before I even had them listed in the shop. Fun Custom Orders

I love doing custom orders.  So many people have fun uses for my items. Because I promised in yesterday's post to share info about my next custom order with you...Here it is...

I have a wonderful customer that orders my doll clothing sets for a friend of hers.  Her friend then uses them to dress... are you ready...a bobble head doll.

His next outfit will be for June (Hint: Hanging Ten) and then we are working on another idea for July (Hint: Hello Uncle _ _ _).

Once I get each one finished I will share them with all of you.  Of course the clothing sets will also be for sale in the shop with a Felt Doll if you are interested in ordering one for a little one in your life.

A Quick Hello And Update.

I hope all of you had a safe and fun Memorial Day.  I spent mine with family doing nothing but relaxing and putting up our metal frame pool for the kids.

I know it has been kind of quite around here for the last month.  I have been extremely busy working on a very exciting custom order.

Here it is...500 mini Tooth Fairy Pouches. Each one was hand sewn. Yes, I did start to think my hands were going to fall off. Once they reach their destination in Tampa, FL, they will then be added to a children's book, that will be title Smiles In The Sky, about the Tooth Fairy. It is very exciting to think that each one of these 500 little tooth pouches will be placed inside of a book.  The author has promised to send me a copy of the book once it goes to print. I promise to share pictures with all of you when I get it.

Now I am off to work on another custom order.  I'll share with you tomorrow about what it is for.  ;)
